Designer of the Month: Hannah Carding

This month’s ‘Designer of the Month’ is Hannah Carding. Hannah creates decorative drawings, etchings, monoprints and screen prints.

Since gaining a degree in Visual Studies at Norwich School of Art & Design, she went on to study for a Masters in Sequential Illustration at Brighton University. As well as being a freelance artist illustrator, Hannah organises art workshops in museums, galleries and for community arts and mental health organisations. Her work has been exhibited in the Imperial War Museum, Brighton Museum and Dulwich Picture Gallery.

Hannah says, for her, ‘art is about noticing things and then trying to get things noticed.’ A sense of narrative is often present in the pieces she produces.
