Designer of the Month: Annie Soudain
Annie Soudain has been awarded our ‘Designer of the Month’ title for May. She specialises in lino-printing but also creates a significant amount of artwork by using the technique of wax-resist painting on silk.
Annie studied art at Canterbury College of Art. She subsequently studied at Brighton College for an art teacher's diploma.
A large number of Annie’s work focuses on natural forms as a subject. She is also extremely interested in light which can be seen clearly when studying her art. Annie exhibits with, amongst others, the Sussex Guild and the National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Printmakers. She also has work in private collections in Spain, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Australia, Denmark, New Zealand and France. Additionally, Annie has created work for the National Trust and Saga Rose.
