Stuart Morris: ‘Colour it Wild’
‘I want my colours to sing’ (Delvaux)
Stuart is a painter, printmaker and environmental artist. He often feels compelled to use the environment around him to create his art. Places which Stuart has a special connection with are Barra (in the Outer Hebrides), Suffolk’s coastline and the Greek islands. These have been the site for a number of pieces made by Stuart.
Stuart’s artwork is often large in scale and creates an impact upon the viewer. The other striking aspect to the art is the use of colour. Contrasting forms are often combined to create exciting juxtapositions. This can be seen through his choice of media, level of detail and subject matter.
Stuart is holding an exhibition (‘Colour it Wild’) at La Galleria Pall Mall from 23rd – 28th March. The exhibition will be open daily from 10am – 8pm and he would love to see you there. The exhibition will feature unique canvases, photo collages and paintings.
